Join us as we continue to work on the hot spots that we were unable to complete during the last cleanup.and before winter sets in.

Meeting Location: Woodland Park Middle School (caravan/carpool from there)

Sunday, Aug 26,  9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Location: Forest Service Rd. 945 (Off of County Road 300 better known as Rampart Range Rd.)

Setup: 7:00 am

Registration and snacks: 8:15 am

AM Safety briefing: 8:45 pm

AM Cleanup starts at 9:00 am

Lunch provided from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

PM Safety briefing at 1:00 pm

PM Cleanup starts at1:15 pm

Event ends at 4:00 pm

Green Mountain Falls Bronc Day

Focus on the Forest will be a part of the fun all day.  Come have some fun!

  • Saturday, July 28, 2018
  • Parade with FoF Float:  10:00am -  11:00am (Participants highly welcome)
  • FoF Booth:  9am - 3pm  STOP BY AND VISIT (Volunteers needed too)

Come join Focus on the Forest IN the parade in your FoF shirt and cowboy/western attire, or just come and cheer for our covered wagon entry in the Bronc Day Parade in Green Mountain Falls.

Tri Lakes Mt. Herman CleanUp

SUNDAY 7/22/18 10:30am-2pm

Come join the TriLakes Chapter while they start taking back Mt. Herman.  Meet some new people and see some new areas.  

Meeting Location:  Dirty Woman Park Main Parking Area in Monument

CleanUp Area:  Start at the bottom and work our way up

Bring:  Gloves and and a refillable water bottle if you have them

Provided:  Trash bags, grabbers, buckets, gloves

Rampart Housekeeping Cleanup

Come join us while we clean up various sites cleared by the Forest Service and explore the area for other sites that can use attention.

Meeting Location:  Turnout at top of Rampart Range Rd (CR 300 & CR 312), 2.8 miles from WP Middle School.

Directions:  From the corner of Kelly's Rd and Rampart Range Rd go 1.6 miles.  At the Y vier left toward Indian Creek.  Continue 1.1 miles to where the pavement ends.  Stay left again as it becomes CR 300 and go 0.1 mile to the turnout with the info signs.

Bring:  a refillable water bottle & work gloves (if you have them), a lunch and a SMILE

Provided: water , gloves, cleanup supplies

Woodland Park Middle School (600 E. Kelly Rd)

FREE Admission

Gates open at 5:30 with preconcert performances. CS Philharmonic begins at 7:30pm

Fireworks to follow

FoF will be attending and supporting the event.  Volunteers are needed for event setup, gate greeters, information booth, BBQers,  etc.  We also need as many people in FoF shirts to attend.  Please let us know if you are available to help out.

Turkey Tracks (Shooting Range) Clean-up

Come help us clean up the shooting range. Don't worry, the range will be closed just for us. Turkey Tracks is located 11 miles north of Woodland Park (towards Deckers) on Forest Service Road 343. We want as many people as possible, so we scheduled a multi-day event.

Dates/ times:              Monday, June 11, 9 am - whenever

                                    Tuesday, June 12, 9 am - whenever

                                    Wednesday, June 13, 9 am - whenever.
