Community
Fun for all ages! Brings families and friends together to make a difference in their community. Focus on the Forest participates in Community Service Programs. We have partnered with the US Forest Service along with groups such as “Stay the Trail”, gun clubs, 4×4 and OHV clubs, and other environmental groups.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome! Our events typically start at 9:00 in the morning to 12:00 in the afternoon. For larger events we provide lunch. We would love to see you out on our next clean up. See pre-registration for our upcoming event!
About Us
Focus on the Forest was first established in 2016 by Shawn Nielsen and Eve Woody. This non-profit organization was brought to life because Shawn was tired of seeing trash where he wanted to camp and decided to stop and do something about it. We are 100% volunteer based and many volunteers have come out to help clean up and take care of our National Forest. Over the past ten years we have created a community and love to see everyone getting outside to help.
