(so we know how much food & supplies to bring)
Join us for our cleanup during the peak of the fall colors. The area we will be working on is the Rainbow Falls Riding area north of Woodland Park. It is easily accessible and 4 wheel drive is not needed. This is a 2 part cleanup and after lunch we will be headed out to the Painted Rocks area to touch that area up as well if you are so inclined to join us for Part 2 (but is definitely not required,)
9:00am - Sign In & Safety Briefing
LUNCH: PROVIDED AT Noon (Chili Dogs with sides)
BRING: Refillable water bottle, gloves, wear sunscreen, a coat, long pants & STURDY shoes/boots
PROVIDED: water, gloves (if needed), grabbers, trash bag
BASE CAMP/RAINBOW FALLS RIDING AREA
Take Hwy 67 NORTH from Woodland Park towards Deckers 11 miles. Turn RIGHT on Rainbow Falls Rd. Turn right into the main parking lot and we will be along the fence with all the equipment
We are working on reducing the use of single use cups & plastic water bottles so we ask that you bring a refillable water bottle. We will have water to refill them and make drinks at lunch. If you do not have one, we will have bottles of water that can be labeled and reused for the day.
FURRY FRIENDS - We love our 4 legged volunteers, but with all of the food, people, and other 4 legged volunteers, especially at Base Camp, it can be a bit much for them. Therefore, we now would prefer they stay home or at least be safely secured while at Base Camp. Please make sure to also bring a leash/tieout and water bowl..
